About Indian Dark Violet Beefsteak
First offered in the Seed Savers 1998 Yearbook by Seed Savers Heritage Farm, Decorah, Iowa who got seeds from Arche Noah in Austria. Arche Noah is a genetic preservation organization in Austria with offices and gardens in the village of Schiltern, located 75 kilometers northwest of Vienna. Introduced commercially by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2015.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with very good foliage cover produce 6-9 oz, black beefsteaks with ruffled shoulders. Delicious flavor.
