Originated in Hungary. Introduced to North American gardeners by Geza Korbely, Hungary in the early 2000s. First offered in the Seed Savers 2002 Yearbook by Scott Benson of Medina, NY. Seeds from Geza Korbely, Hungary. Compact indeterminate, potato leaf plant producing high yield of large, 6-17 oz., red, beefsteak fruit (variable shapes) with good flavors.
