About Hugo

‘Hugo’ is an indeterminate, regular leaf plant that produces large (7oz./200g), red, pepper-like fruits. Dense, meaty flesh and very few seeds make this variety an outstanding choice for cooking, preserving, or drying, but also good for fresh. Sweet, old-fashioned tomato flavor. Good transportability and disease resistance. Late, 85 days after transplant.
‘Hugo’ is the Czech Republic originated.
