About Hartman’s Yellow Gooseberry (Yellow Goosberry)
‘Hartman’s Yellow Gooseberry’ is an old heirloom tomato that was popular in the 1800’s and listed by Fearing Burr in 1865. In the nineteenth century it was known as the ‘Yellow Cherry Tomato’. Reintroduced by John Hartman Seed Company. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces large quantities of 1-inch, yellow-orange cherry tomatoes (the subtle striping has the appearance of gooseberries) with very big sweet flavors. Rare.
