About Gul Casady (Sweet Casady Yellow)

‘Gul Casady’ was developed in Denmark from Tom Wagner’s ‘Sweet Casady’ line, selected from the cross made by Tom between (‘Casady’s Folly’ x ‘Speckled Roman’) and ‘Green Grape’*.
‘Gul Casady’ fruits are bright yellow with golden stripes that almost disappear when fruits are fully ripe. Elongated (6cm long, 1oz./30g), meaty fruits with a very sweet tomato taste and a pleasant aroma. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce huge yields from the middle of the season (75 days after transplant). Good keepers.

* Tom shared the F3 seeds of this line with many people and there are different color segregates available from this line: yellow, brown, and red.
