About Guernsey Island (Guernesey Island)

‘Guernsey Island’ is a beautiful heirloom tomato from New Zealand which originally came with immigrants from the Guernsey Islands, UK. It was grown commercially there and sold all over the British Islands.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plant loaded with small (2-4oz./50-100g), round, orange-red fruits with dark green stripes. Purplish-red, very juicy flesh (too juicy for slicing) with well-balanced tomato flavors. Early to midseason, about 65 to 70 days to maturity.
