About Gru Vee
‘Gru Vee’ was created by Tom Wagner of Everett, Washington, USA, from a cross made between ‘Texas Wild’ and ‘New Green Zebra’. It was named by Tom after one of the most famous Austrian wines ‘Gruner Veltliner’.
Indeterminate plants with regular leaf foliage produce beautiful, gape-like trusses of green when ripe, round, and sometimes slightly flattened, small cherry (0.2oz./5g) tomatoes with amber-colored skin when fully ripe, irregular green streaks, and emerald green interior. Outstanding, deliciously sweet flavors. Perfect for fresh, as a snack, or in salads. Midseason, about 70 days after transplant.
