About Grosses de Rémy (Grosses de Remy)
‘Grosses de Rémy’ is a family heirloom from Remi Antini of Nalliers, a commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce an abundant crop of large (11-28oz./300-800g), red beefsteaks, slightly flattened and ribbed on the shoulders. Delicious, well-balanced tomato flavors and meaty yet juicy flesh. Mid- to late season, about 80-85 days to maturity.
