‘Grosse du Gers’ is an outstanding local family heirloom tomato, that was cultivated for several generations in the region of Eauze, Gers, South-West France.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants are loaded with a good amount of large (9-25oz./250-700g), red beefsteaks with outstanding, perfectly balanced sweet and sour, old-fashioned tomato flavors. Excellent choice for fresh eating. Midseason, about 75-80 days after transplant.
