About Green Moldovan
Green Moldovan AKA Moldovan Green. Rare heirloom from Moldova. Introduced in Seed Savers 1998 Yearbook by Jeremiah Gettle of Mansfield, Missouri, owner of Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. The original seed came from Glenn Drowns, Iowa. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces 8-10 oz., smooth, green, oblate tomatoes with a yellowish blush that reveals an attractive neon-colored flesh when sliced. Exceptionally fine flavors with perfect tart/tropical sweet balance. Good choice for a market tomato.
