About Grandpa’s Cock’s Plume (Dedushkino Petushinoye Peryshko, Дедушкино Петушиное Перышко)

From Altai mountains of Siberia, Russia. First introduced commercially by Seeds Trust/High Altitude Gardens . This is another tomato that different people and seed vendors have been describing differently. Seeds Trust/High Altitude Gardens originally described it as large hearts with light-red skin. Tanager described it as a medium (4-6 oz) red hearts. Seed Savers Exchange members describe it as medium to large pink heart, and some do not specify the fruit color. Determinate, bushy, regular leaf plants produce high yield of 6-12 oz., medium-sized pink heart-shaped fruits with very good, mild, sweet flavors. Good for container planting.
