About Grand Belgium
100+ year old heirloom variety. First offered in the Seed Savers 2004 Yearbook by Joan B. Ballitch of Centerburg, Ohio, who received it from Vi Ridgeway who he met in 1999 at Wayne County (Ohio) Fair at tomato exhibit. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 8-20 oz. irregularly shaped, large, orange beefsteak tomatoes with some fruits exceeding 2 lbs. Delicious sweet flavors.
