About Goose Creek
‘Goose Creek’ is an old family heirloom that dates back to the 1800s. Jimmy Williams, California, USA, received the seeds from his grandmother, Elouise Watson, around 1950-1960. Jimmy’s great-great-grandmother, as a young slave, smuggled the seed of this tomato on a ship from the Caribbean to Charleston, near Goose Creek in South Carolina around 1800. Since then, seeds have been passed down from generation to generation in the Jimmy Williams family.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce a good yield of pink, round and oblate, medium-sized tomatoes (about 100-250g). Delicious, very good balanced tomato taste, juicy and full of aroma. Midseason, about 75 days to mature.
