About Giant Heart Climber
An old family heirloom sent to Mike Dunton of Victory Seed Company by Ben McKiver of Manitoba. Mr. McKiver wrote: “I am enclosing some tomato seeds that my grandfather cultivated every year until he passed away in 1992. We always called them “Giant Heart Climbers.” Growing these tomatoes as a child, we had one that made the front page of the local newspaper in Cornwall, Ontario, that weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz. Also when supported, we’ve had plants achieve heights higher than ten feet.” Indeterminate, regular leaf plans produce gigantic (16-32 oz.), pink, heart-shaped tomatoes with points on the blossom ends. Good flavor.
