About Giant Fiolet

‘Giant Fiolet’ is a tomato variety of unknown origin, that was first introduced in Seed Savers 1997 Yearbook by Glenn Drowns, Iowa, USA – the owner of ‘Sand Hill Preservation Center’.
Indeterminate, vigorous, regular leaf vines produce medium to large-sized (6-11oz./180-300g), deep purple fruits with dark green shoulders. Juicy, oblate fruits are smooth, have firm, meaty flesh, and very good, sweet tomato flavor with an excellent smoky aftertaste. Midseason, about 70-80 days to maturity.
