About Germaid Red

‘Germaid Red’ is a family heirloom tomato from West Virginia, USA. It is one of the heirloom tomatoes described by Carolyn J. Male in her book “100 Heirloom Tomatoes for the American Garden”.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce large (11-18 oz./300-500g), red beefsteaks with superior, old-fashioned flavors, juicy yet meaty flash, and outstanding, rich tomato aroma. Good for fresh, great slicer and salad tomato. Early to midseason, about 69-80 days to maturity.
