About Fuego Verde (Green Fire)

‘Fuego Verde’ was developed by Fred Hemple of ‘Artisan Seeds’. Indeterminate, regular, and wispy leaf plants loaded with excellent yields of elongated, small (about 10cm long and 1oz./55g) green when ripe tomatoes, with dark green stripes outside. Very juicy, sweet tomato taste. Long after-shelf life – fruits can be stored for more than two weeks after harvest. An excellent variety for outstanding green tomato salsa, sauce, or for drying, making tomato jam, and whole fruit preservation. Midseason, 72 days after transplant.
