About Freken Bok (Фрекен Бок)
‘Freken Bok’ is a commercial variety from Russia, created by Postnikova Olga Valentinovna and Zelenin Alexey Vladimirovich. It was included in the ‘Russian State Register’ in 2019. Indeterminate, regular leaf, sturdy but compact plants produce large (11-18oz./300-500g), pink heart-shaped fruits with smooth and shiny skin, meaty flesh, and very few seeds. Sweet tomato tastes, very aromatic, and full of flavors. Excellent for fresh eating, on sandwiches and in summer salads, but also good for cooking and canning. Resistant to dry and hot weather. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
