About Flin Flon
‘Flin Flon’ was named after the village of its origin in Manitoba, Canada. The seeds were preserved and shared by a gardener who lived in the village of Flin Flon and has been growing this variety for many years. First introduced commercially by ‘Heritage Harvest Seed’, Canada in 2010.
Indeterminate, potato leaf plants produce large (9oz./250g), pink beefsteaks with delicious, bold, old-fashioned tomato flavor and outstanding aroma. Well adapted to cooler and short-season areas. Midseason, about 72 days to maturity.
