About Extravagante Rouffiange

‘Extravagante Rouffiange’ is very unique, dark, striped saladette with strong anthocyanin expression on the woolly fruits and leaves. It was developed by Pascal Moreau of Belgium from Tom Wagner’s ‘Seattle’s Blue Wooly Mammoth’ in 2012. Named after famous Belgian Tomatophile, Jean Michel Rouffiange, the organizer of the Tomato Festival in Sambreville, Belgium. Small (3-4oz./80-100g), round, extremely attractive-looking fruits have outstanding, special, well-balanced flavors. Somewhat short (3.9-4.9in./1.2m-1.5m) plants with regular, woolly leaf foliage. Midseason, about 70-80 days after transplant.
