‘Etual’ is originated in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the original name of this variety is lost. The seeds were given to the great Russian tomato enthusiasts and seed vendor, Valery Popenko, by one of his customers. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces medium to large (4-7oz./100-200g), pear- or sack-shaped, and strongly ribbed, red tomatoes with very few seeds and sometimes empty seed cavities. An outstanding sauce maker, also good for stuffing. Sweet tomato taste with pleasant, acidic notes. Fruits can be stored well at room temperature for few weeks. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
