About Ethiopia Roi Humbert
Ethiopia Roi Humbert (AKA Roi Humbert, King Humbert, King Umberto) is a very old heirloom variety. First offered in the SSE 1995 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin, who received seeds from Norbert Parreira in 1992. Bushy determinate, regular leaf plants produce heavy sets of 1-3 oz., 2-inch, red, pear-shaped paste tomatoes in clusters of 4-8. Sweet flavors perfectly balanced with acid. A good tomato for sauces, canning, or snacking.
