About Ernesto

‘Ernesto’ is of Italian origin. Robert Fromm of Royal Oak, Minessota, USA, obtained the seeds from his neighbor, Francesca, and distributed them to ‘Garden Web’ members in 2005.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces large (9-18oz./250-500g), red, ribbed hearts with firm and dense flesh, often with empty seed cavities. Very good, sweet tomato flavors, perfect for sauces and tomato paste. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
