About Erdie Family Oxheart

‘Erdie Family Oxheart’ is a delicious heart-shaped tomato, seeds of which were distributed to several tomato growers by David Lemasters of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, USA, in 2009. First offered in the Seed Savers 2010 Yearbook by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois, USA.
Indeterminate, regular, and whispy leaf plants produce a very good yield of medium to large (5-11oz./150-300g), pink, hearts with delicious, rich, and complex flavors. Excellent for fresh tomato juice, cooking, and canning. Midseason, about 78 days after transplant.
