About Dwarf Eagle Smiley

‘Dwarf Eagle Smiley’ was developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from a cross made by Craig LeHoullier between the dwarf ‘Summertime Green’ and old heirloom ‘Mexico Midget’. It was selected and named by Justin Sieglaff from a material grown by Linda Black. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Craig LeHoullier, Mike Dunton, and John Dunton. Introduced commercially by Victory Seed Company of Molalla, Oregon, USA, in 2022.
A dwarf-type plant with rugose, regular leaves producing golden yellow, globe-shaped tomatoes weighing 1oz./28g. The flesh is juicy, with a complex and wonderfully sweet flavor. A fantastic addition to a fresh salad. Fruits ripen for enjoyment early in the growing season, about 60 days after transplant.
