About Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet

‘Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet’ was developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from a cross made by Craig LeHoullier between ‘Pale Leaf Mullens Mortgage Lifter’ and ‘Summer Sunrise’ and named ‘Morthy’ family. ‘Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet’ was selected by Craig and named after his beloved black lab. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Nancy Ruhl and Bill Minkey. Introduced commercially in 2021 by Victory Seed Company of Molalla, Oregon, USA.
This intriguing, rugose, chartreuse-colored dwarf-type plant with potato leaves produces medium to large (6-16oz./170-453g), pink, oblate tomatoes with juicy, meaty, and sweet flesh that has a nice acidic finish. The chartreuse gene causes plants to grow a bit taller – up to about 3.9ft./1.2. Late, the first ripe fruits can be enjoyed 85-87 days after transplant.
