About Dwarf Sarah’s Red

‘Dwarf Sarah’s Red’ was developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small by crossing an F3 selection of ‘Kangaroo Paw Red’ with ‘Grozny 91’ in 2008 and named ‘Sneaky’ family. ‘Dwarf Sarah’s Red’ was selected and named by Susan Oliverson. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Susan Oliverson and Bill Minkey. Introduced commercially by Victory Seed Company of Molalla, Oregon, USA, in 2018.
Rugose, regular leaves on dwarf vines produce red round tomatoes weighing 4-10oz./120-280g. The fruit is luscious with smooth textured meat and a pleasant, well-balanced flavor. A great addition to summer salads, charcuterie boards, and pasta dishes. Midseason, 75 days after transplant.
