About Dwarf Peppermint Stripes
‘Dwarf Peppermint Stripes’ tomato is a beautiful dwarf-type plant developed by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project. Selected and named from the ‘Beauty’ family by Craig LeHoullier. Stabilization work on this variety collaborative of Michael Volk, Richard Watson, Bill Yoder, Dee Sackett, Karl Johnson and Bill Minkey. It was introduced commercially in 2018.
Rugose and regular leaf plants with very good yield of medium to large (4-12 oz./120-350g), oblate fruit, beautifully colored – green with light and dark green and pink stripes outside and green with pink marbeling inside. Delicious, sweet flesh with a nice acidic notes. Midseason, about 85 days from transplant.
