About Dwarf Parfait
‘Dwarf Parfait’ tomato was developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’. Selected from the ‘Fancy’ family (originated from a cross made by Sherry Long between a selection from the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ family ‘Sunny’ and ‘Orange Pear’) and named by Susan Oliverson. The stabilization work was made by Susan Oliverson, Craig LeHoullier, Hudson England, Dan Follett, Dee Sackett, Bill Minkey. Introduced commercially by ‘Victory Seed Company’ for the 2019 gardening season.
Dwarf type plants with rugose potato leaf foliage produces very good yield of unusual colored, green when ripe fruits with clear epidermis, green flesh and distinct orange core. Medium to large fruits (6-12 oz./180-360g) are meaty yet juicy and have well balanced, delightful flavor. Late, about 85 days to maturity.
