About Dwarf Mocha’s Cherry
‘Dwarf Mocha’s Cherry’ was developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from a cross made by Craig LeHoullier of a high anthocyanin pink cherry tomato with indeterminate growth, shared by Marcia Dillon as unstabilized material from Tom Wagner, with ‘Dwarf Saucy Mary’ and named ‘Anthy’ family. It was selected and named from this family in 2018 by Craig and further stabilized by Chan Mortimer. Introduced commercially in 2022 by Victory Seed Company of Molalla, Oregon, USA.
Dwarf vines with rugose, antho-colored, regular leaves bear very dark anthocyanin, glossy, dark red bottomed tomatoes weighing 1oz./30g. Their sweet and spicy flavor pairs perfectly with goat cheese salads. Excellent choice for container growing on patio or balcony or for small gardens. Early, about 65 days to maturity.
