About Dwarf Golden Heart
‘Dwarf Golden Heart’ was developed by the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from a cross made between ‘Anna Banana Russian’ and ‘Roza Vetrov’ by Patrina Nuske Small, and named by Linda Black. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Lurley Hernandez, Christy Shedd, Dan Follett, Jason Ford, Paul Fish, Linda Stormes and Craig LeHoullier, and Bill Minkey. This variety was first introduced commercially in 2015.
Vigorous, determinate dwarf-type plants with rugose, regular leaf foliage produce a high yield of large (4-11oz./100-300g), bright yellow, heart-shaped fruits. Very good, sweet, and rich tomato flavors. Midseason, about 70 days to maturity.
