About Dwarf Elsie’s Fancy
‘Dwarf Elsie’s Fancy’ is one of the first variegated dwarf varieties developed by the members of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project’ from the ‘Acey’ family. Named by Craig LeHoullier after his grandmother, Elsie. Stabilization was the collaborative work of Pete Adland, Tom Martucci, Susan Oliverson, Debra Kennedy, Jared Scoville, Kevin Campbell, Caitlin LeHoullier, and Bill Minkey. This variety was first introduced commercially by ‘Victory Seeds’ in 2021.
Beautiful, very attractive, variegated, potato and rugose leaf plants that produce a very high yield of medium to large (4-12oz./100-350g), oblate-shaped, bright yellow fruits. The tomatoes have excellent, well-balanced flavors and mature late in the season, about 90 days.
