About Dubrava
Russian commercial variety. First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Dan and Val McMurray of Wynndel, British Columbia, Canada, who got seeds from Natalia Ochagova, a Russian lady in Michigan. Determinate, but quite vigorous plants with regular leaf foliage produce large crops of 2-4 oz., round, oblate, red fruits that are blemish free. First fruits have beautiful green shoulders when they just start to turn color. Very good balanced flavor, more sweet than acidic.
