About Drapee
‘Drapee’ is a very rare tomato named due to its unusual shape. Pascal Moreau received seeds of this variety from Francesca Fasse, who obtained them from her Italian friend. Pascal shared seeds of this variety with other gardeners around the world.
Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce a huge yield of medium (5-7oz./150-200g), yellow, pepper-like shaped, strongly wrinkled, “draped” fruits. Yellow flesh with large, empty seed cavities and very few seeds located in the center top part of the fruit. Good for stuffing or cooking. Midseason, bout 78 days to maturity.
