About Dora Red F1, Heartbreakers™ Series

‘Dora Red F1’ is a dwarf-type tomato plant introduced commercially by PRUDAC™, Enkhuizen, Netherlands*, as a part of the ‘Heartbreakers™’ tomato series of compact, heart-shaped, cocktail tomato plants bred for growing in small containers on patios, balconies or even on the kitchen windowsill all year round.
This sturdy determinate dwarf grows to a height of 16″/40cm and 12”/30cm in diameter and has rugose potato leaf foliage. The red, heart-shaped fruit grows in clusters of 8-10 and weighs 0.3oz./7g each. If harvested throughout the growing season, it will continuously set new fruit. The juicy tomatoes have a tender skin and the perfect sweet/sour balance with a Brix of about 9. They are an excellent option for summertime snacks eaten straight from the vine but also great for salads and fresh pasta. Suitable for small (about 4″-6″/12-15cm) pots. Mid-season, about 70-84 days to maturity.
