About Delta Red

‘Delta Red’ was developed by Blane Horton of Jackson, Mississippi, USA from a cross made between ‘Dwarf Wild Fred’ x ‘Keith Mueller’s H-28’ and named ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ Project. There are also other siblings from this cross: ‘Delta Diver’, ‘Delta Dawn’, and ‘Rumpelstiltskin’.
‘Delta Red’ is a compact tree-type dwarf plant with potato and rugose leaf foliage. Medium (3-4oz./80-120g), round and oblate, reddish-orange colored fruits with green stripes. Juicy, bi-colored flesh with green gel. Sweet and fragrant flavors, excellent tomato taste. Perfect for growing in large pots or for small gardens. Good yield. Midseason, about 75 days to maturity.
