About David’s Ivory Pineapple
‘David’s Ivory Pineapple’ is an off-type of ‘Green Pineapple’ tomato, that produced ivory and golden tomatoes, found by David Lemasters in his garden in Pennsylvania, USA. It was likely a cross of ‘Green Pineapple’ and another white or yellow variety, next generations produces yellow, white and green fruit*. ‘Davis’s Ivory Pineapple’ was selected as an Indeterminate, regular leaf plants with high yield of medium sized (4-10 oz), pale white beefsteak type fruit, sometimes with pink blush at the bottom end when fully ripe. Sweet and juicy flesh with delicious, refreshing flavor. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
* There is also ‘David’s Golden Pineapple’ developed from this line.
