About Dark Orange Muscat

‘Dark Orange Muscat’ is an unique cherry tomato, that was first introduced in SSE 2008 Yearbook by Andrew Still of Drain, Oregon, USA, who received the seeds from Madeline McKeever of CV ‘Brown Envelope Seeds’, Ireland. Madeline McKeever obtained the seed from Tom Wagner of Everett, Washington, USA while at an ‘Organic Seed Alliance’ conference. Indeterminate, regular leaf, tall vines that produces very good yield of round, 1 oz. cherry tomatoes, very unique in color: dark, muddy orange outside with geenish shoulders, dark orange flesh and green gel. Juicy and very good balanced flavor, more sweet than acidic and somewhat fruity. Early, about 70 days to maturity.
