About Dark Galaxy
‘Dark Galaxy’ was developed by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms, Napa, California. Released in 2014 by Wild Boar Farms in the F3 generation. It is one of the most unusual colored tomatoes available. Beautiful, small to medium (1.5-4 oz./42-120g) fruits are round, antho over red, and golden speckling and striped skin. Delicious, sweet flavors, similar to ‘Cascade Lava’ tomato. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants are very good producers. Midseason, about 78-80 days to maturity.

I convert one person a year with these beauties! Love the texture, taste, and color!
Where do you grow them? How productive? How tall? I got one from an heirloom tomato farm in Southeastern PA near my home last September and loved the look and taste and am growing one plant in a large container this year. It doesn’t sound like it’s stable yet, but I’m hoping for the best. Plant is healthy and virgorous and beginning to blossom.
The tomato that I used was small, I’d say about 1/oz We’ll see how it goes.
