Bred by Tom Wagner, a tomato and potato breeder from Washington state, the founder of Tater Mater Seed and New World Seeds & Tubers. Released in 2012 and offered commercially by New World Seeds & Tubers. Named after the thirteenth episode of the thirteenth season of the American animated television series South Park. Indeterminate, purple vines, round, red with strong blue cap. A true blue cherry tomato variety with small fruits that ripen to a deep purple-blue in sunlight. Nice cherry tomato flavor, good production. Dusky blue-green stems and foliage too!

Hi Zephyr Grace, the best time to sow tomato seeds is about 6-8 weeks before planting young plants out. The growing season in your area starts in mid-March, so seeds should be sown indoors between January 18 and February 1.

Hi Mary, they turn red on the bottom end when ripe. The best way to check is to touch them and gently push them with your finger. They are ripe when the flesh is soft.
