About Cuostralee
Seeds for this French family heirloom were obtained by Craig LeHoullier and Carolyn Male from Norbert Pairerra of Hellimer, France in 1992. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce large leafy vines that yield dependably heavy quantities of HUGE, 1-2 lbs., red, blemish-free, ribbed tomatoes that have intense, balanced, old-fashioned tomatoey flavors. Fruits are typically 4-inches across. Small gel sacks with few seeds. Sometimes the name is misspelled ‘Coustralee’.
