‘Cuneo Giant Pear’ is a delicious sandwich and canning tomato that originated in Cuneo, the city, and comune in Piedmont, Northern Italy, the capital of the province of Cuneo. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants are loaded with medium to large (5-11oz./150-300g), beautiful red and ruffled on the shoulders, pear/sack-shaped tomatoes. Sweet, dense flesh, with very few seeds and excellent, rich tomato flavors. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
