About Costoluto Fiorentino Novoli
‘Novoli’ selection of the famous Italian heirloom variety from Florence Costoluto Fiorentino. Novoli is an area in the northwest district of Florence, Italy.(Note:’Costoluto’ means ‘ribbed’ in Italian.) Very tall and vigorous indeterminate plants with regular leaf foliage produce good yields of heavily ribbed beauties, 4-8 oz., with very good robust tomato flavors (more acidic than sweet). Meaty flesh with just enough juice.
