About Connie’s Cain
‘Connie’s Cain’ is an heirloom tomato variety that came from Italy. Connie Keplinger from Minerva, Ohio, USA, whose family has grown this variety for many years, sent seeds of this variety to Gary Ibsen. Introduced commercially by TomatoFest Seeds. Strong and tall, indeterminate plants with good production of large, 1 Ib., red, slightly flattened beefsteaks. Very meaty flesh with full tomato flavor, more sweet than acidic. Midseason, about 80 days to maturity.
