About Coeur de Zebre Abricot
‘Coeur de Zebre Abricot’ is a recent variety created and stabilized by Jean Claude Bosher of France, from the cross made between ‘Cœur de Bœuf’ and ‘Red Zebra’. Big (7-14 oz.), heart-shaped fruits are very beautifully colored – orange-yellow and red inside and outside, reminiscent of apricot – hence the name of this variety. Delicious, sweet and fruity flesh, dense and meaty, with very few seeds. Indeterminate, regular, and droopy leaf foliage. Excellent and regular production from mid-season until the first frost. About 75-80 days from transplant.
