About Chris Ukrainian
A family heirloom from Ukraine. Seed was collected by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York from a plumber Krzysztos (Chris) Syzymanski, who was an immigrant from the Ukraine. Hence the name, ‘Chris Ukrainian’. Late season, indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces very large, 16-40 oz, pink beefsteaks with some semi-hollow seed cavities. Good flavor.
