About Chilo Della Garfagnana

‘Chilo Della Garfagnana’ is a very early, productive, old-fashioned tomato that was traditionally grown in the region of Tuscany, Italy.
A large, weighing about 14-35oz./400g-1kg, pink, clear-skinned beefsteaks that are rather soft when fully ripe, but the flavor is outstanding, with both – high sweetness and acidity. The flavor can be poor in rainy and cold seasons. Tall, healthy, and strong, indeterminate, regular leaf vines produced well until the first frost. Early to midseason, about 65 to 80 days after transplant.
