About Chile Verde
‘Chile Verde’ tomato was bred by Tom Wagner of Everett, Washington, USA. It was first introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Amy Goldman of Rhinebeck, NY. Introduced commercially by ‘Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds’ in 2010. Indeterminate, regular leaf plant produces good yields of 4-8 oz., green-yellow, elongated plum, paste type fruit with very few seeds and good, sweet flavor. Mid- to late season, about 80-85 days to maturity.
