About Chico III
Developed in California. Determinate, regular leaf, short plants, that can also be grown well in pots, produce high yields of 3-4 oz., red plum-shaped fruits, with dry flesh and very good sweet flavor. Very concentrated fruit set and ripening. Fruits detach easily from the stem when ripe, which makes it so easy to pick from the plants that are loaded with ripe fruit. Good keeper. Very impressive paste variety. Excellent hot-weather producer for those who have tomatoes that stop producing in the intense summer heat. Tolerant to VFF.
