About Cherokee Tiger Purple Striped

‘Cherokee Tiger Purple Striped’ is a very beautiful tomato variety developed from the original cross made by Bill Jeffers of Evansville, Indiana, USA, between tiger-striped dwarf tomato variety ‘Tigrette’ and ‘Cherokee Purple’. Very compact, determinate, dwarf type, bushy plant with beautiful, chartreuse-colored, regular leaf foliage. Small (2-3oz./60-90g), purple, plum-shaped fruits with dark green shoulders and beautiful, dark green, shiny stripes. Outstanding, sweet, and somewhat smoky flavors and rich tomato aroma. Midseason, about 75-80 days after transplant.
